Mary Fluharty married Alonzo Boyers, Alta's maternal grandfather, on May 28, 1874. See photo below

Alonzo Boyers was a county surveyor in Wetzel Co, WV. The Boyers family came from Kentucky.

How old are these photos?

Some of the photos in the collection are from the late 1800s. Whenever possible, I've included the date with each picture.

Who are these people in the photos?

The main families represented in the collection are Boyars, Yoho, Fluharty, Staley and Utt. There are, of course, people with different last names due to marriage, birth and adoption.
